January in Minnesota

This is my first blog effort.
I awoke approximately 5:00 a.m. hoping to go ice-fishing today. The winds picked up and changed to the northwest; very cold. It's toasty indoors. Maybe tomorrow will be better (warmer). Temperatures ran to -25 F. this week. Wind chill factors to -50. Time to water the houseplants and plan next summer's garden.
